“Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve.” – Leonardo da Vinci

In my commitment to bring you the best in Performance Education, this post will see a bit of a change in format. Nothing major really. It’s just that since I was going through archives of old emails, I decided to go through some old books and journals as well. Here is one of the stories I found:

A Zen master out for a walk with one of his students pointed out a fox chasing a rabbit. “According to an ancient fable, the rabbit will get away from the fox,” the master said.

“Not so,” replied the student. “The fox is faster.”

“But the rabbit will elude him,” insisted the master.

“Why are you so certain?” asked the student.

“Because the fox is running for his dinner, and the rabbit running for his life,” answered the master.

People very often get just what they need, just in the nick of time. Rarely do they get more than that.

Why?

Because they’re running for their dinner not for their life. Having urgency is important.

One of the keys in making major progress in minor time is putting everything you have into everything you do.

There are two questions that I believe you can use with great effectiveness. They are:

#1 – What can I do today to move closer to my clearly defined goals?

#2 – Did I do everything I could today to move closer my clearly defined goals?

These two questions can provide you with the answers that can guide you to your dreams faster than you can imagine. I say “can” because these performance coaching tips only work when you apply them.

Combine that with the other strategies previously provided here in these posts and you’ll be on your way.

Are looking for a snack? Or, are you ready for a meal? The choice is uniquely yours.

The best is yet to come!
